Join Slow Food members Amy and Sean on Capitol Hill for our first convivial gathering and potluck! Special guest and zero-waste “ecopreneur” Stephanie Lentz will lead an inspiring conversation on how reducing waste can lead to a healthier food system, cleaner planet and stronger community.

VEGETARIAN POTLUCK

Our evening will begin with a potluck to celebrate the arrival of spring! Please bring a dish, vegetarian if possible, and a beverage to share. Plates, utensils and glasses will be provided.

SPECIAL GUEST: STEPHANIE LENTZ

Stephanie is the founder of Scoop Marketplace, Seattle’s first zero waste grocery store. By sourcing local, package-free and bulk products, the market is eliminating the need for disposable packaging and significantly reducing our collective environmental impact. A former teacher and, now, a mother of two, Stephanie is motivated to create a healthier food system and heal the planet for all children.

A big, big thank you to Amy and Sean for generously opening up their home to host us!

A $5 tax-deductible donation made to Slow Food Seattle will reserve your place at the table.
