A four-part, farm-to-table culinary series celebrating the seasonal bounty of the Pacific Northwest and the distinct, delicious flavors of the Ark of Taste.
PART TWO: SUMMER SUPPER
Sunday, August 4, 2019 / 5:00pm / Bella Luna Farms in Snohomish
Pamela Thompson of Bella Luna Farms and Chef Shane Ryan of Upper Left Catering invite you to Scampagnata, a four-part dinner series to celebrate Snohomish farmers and highlight regional items, like the Marbled Chinook Salmon, from the Ark of Taste. All proceeds help fund Slow Food Seattle initiatives and programming.
Tour of Bella Luna Farms
This enchanting evening will open with passed appetizers, drinks and a guided tour through Bella Luna Farms. Nestled in the forest, the farm hosts several stunning organic gardens, ponds, open fields, chickens, goats, an apiary and farmstead creamery.
Summer Supper
Our six-course, family style Summer Supper will showcase Neah Bay Marbled Chinook Salmon caught by Slow Food advocate and local fisherman Jeremy Brown. Marbled Chinook is a delicious, regionally distinct salmon catalogued on the Ark of Taste. The term “marbled” refers to its varying amounts of both red and white pigmentation, which gives the flesh a marbled appearance.
